Plein air painting begins in Portage du Fort on June 6th at 10am. This will be our third year holding our weekly plein air sessions. We meet at the Stone School Gallery (home of artPontiac) and we’ll paint in and around Portage during these sessions.
You don’t need to be a member of artPontiac to join us, but in the event that it’s decided that a group exhibition would take place in the gallery, then this would be for paid members. The art submitted would be what you painted during your weekly plein air sessions with the group.
WHAT: Whether you are a watercolourist, oil painter or a sketcher – everyone is welcome to plein air paint with us.
WHEN: Thursdays from 10am to noonish (or later if you wish);
WHERE: We meet at the Stone School Gallery unless other locations have been set the week before;
WHO: Members and Non-members can participate in these weekly plein air sessions.
